Much of the layout from the white edition remains in place for its nocturnal peer; mismatched embroidery on the heel between From Kobe’s #8 and the tri-tip Mamba logo he’d adopt in later years. A double ply Swoosh splits between the Laker’s two primary tones, Bryant’s signature appears gilded on the tongue, and the pair arrives with two sets of laces that align with those vibrant shades. The main draw for the Kobe Air Force 1 “Black,” however, is the all-over embossed pattern, planting the Kobe logo comprehensively throughout the shoe.
