The Air Jordan 13 is gearing up for some exciting retro releases in 2026. Among the Spring release slate is the “Chicago” colorway, an OG look that has only been rereleased a handful of times in the years since its debut.

The Air Jordan 13 holds a unique place in sneaker history as Michael Jordan’s on-court shoe during his final championship run with the Chicago Bulls in 1997–98. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and inspired by a panther, the silhouette introduced holographic branding and a paw-like outsole that emphasized speed and agility. The shoe’s “Chicago” colorway, a constant among Jordan releases when Mike played, was part of the 13’s OG lineup. Despite being an original design, the colorway has only had retro releases in 2010 and 2017.

Next year, the “Chicago” Air Jordan 13 will make a rare reappearance, emerging again for the first time in nearly a decade. This news comes on the heels of the shoe’s fan-favorite “Flint” color scheme also returning in 2026. Seen here in official images of the GS sizing, the Bulls-inspired colorway pits the shoe’s dotted upper in a crisp white leather. Bold True Red accents color the shoe’s heels and collars, as well as the midsole, with black accents rounding out the rest of the palette.

AIR JORDAN 13 “CHICAGO” 2026 RELEASE INFORMATION

The release date for the latest retro of the Air Jordan 13 “Chicago” has not been announced yet, and is not expected to arrive until Spring, possibly on March 13th, 2026. The simple combination of white leather with red and black accents will be available through Nike’s SNKRS and select retailers, and is expected to come with a price tag of $210.
