Jordan Brand is cooking with their Air Jordan 40 this season. The brand has started to roll out their series of past icons reinterpreted onto the latest performance model. This week, official images of a “Ferrari” style from the AJ14 have surfaced, coming in Spring 2026.

The yearly release of a brand new Air Jordan model has gotten a bit stale in recent years. The dominance of Jordan Brand’s early models as retro lifestyle shoes overshadows the newer performance pairs, most due to the fact that not everyone into sneaker also plays ball. However, Jordan is absolutely cooking with the Air Jordan 40 so far this year, and have some exciting plans for the sneaker in 2026. The most recent styles of the model pay homage to past mainline sneakers, reinterpreting iconic colorways on the sleek new silhouette.

The introduction of the Air Jordan 40 got off to a hot start this Summer, debuting in a simple black & white “The Classic” color scheme. They quickly followed up with gorgeous blue & pink suede colorways, before their grand plan for the AJ40 started to emerge this Fall. The 40 is now serving as a canvas to pay homage to iconic colorways from Jordan Brand’s history, with pairs celebrating the AJ1, AJ6, AJ16, and AJ23 already lined up for releases in the coming months. This week, we have an official look at the rumored AJ14 “Ferrari” colorway, now set for a Spring release. This pair covers the 40 in a bright red suede upper, adding the 14’s signature tongue and Ferrari badge-inspired branding to the heels.

The latest addition to Jordan Brand’s assortment of Air Jordan 40 styles inspired by iconic models has not been announced yet, but is expected to arrive in Spring 2026. This pair takes on the fan-favorite “Ferrari” color scheme from the AJ14, pitting the 40 in all red with black & yellow accents. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select basketball retailers, with the usual price tag of $205.
