Earlier this year, Kevin Durant put some of his half-billion in NBA money towards something greater–ownership in one of the biggest sports clubs in the world. In June, Durant was revealed to have purchased a minority stake in Paris-Saint Germain through Qatar Sports Investments, PSG’s majority shareholder. The connection has finally reached the basketball court as the Houston Rockets star just debuted a Nike KD 18 PE inspired by the club.

Featuring the French club’s signature colors, this KD 18 Player Exclusive is covered in an elegant dark navy with accents of red decorating the edges of the lace eyelets, the Swoosh border, and the ribbon that runs down the tongue. Paris-Saint Germain’s medallion logo appears on the tongue, while KD’s jersey number 7 sits behind the Swoosh on the ankle. A further nod is made to Nike’s commitment to international football via the Total90 logo that sits at the fore-foot.
Durant just debuted these during shoot-around ahead of the Rockets/Spurs game, where the lanky forward will face off with the even lankier Victor Wembanyama.
