As so many of the Boston brand’s models have in past years, the New Balance has recently flexed its versatility, becoming a futuristic no-sew shoe as the 9060 Z and embracing radical forms for summer with the New Balance 9060 Mule.

Yet it’s still its conventional build that is the bread and butter. Of course, that’s a relative description; a jagged, chunky sole unit mixed with a suede and mesh upper is exactly the arresting combination that made the 9060 a streetstyle titan in the first place. Despite those exaggerated proportions, it’s been willing and able to take on calmer fare, something tapped into again with the “Oxford Blue” edition at hand. Subtle sky coloring across the overlays meets a neutral base layer, with some additional calm off-color hits arriving via the CR device and “N” branding.

The New Balance 9060 “Oxford Blue” is available now via NewBalance.com, retailing for the standard $160. Hit the “Where To Buy” links below to grab yours.
