Alongside the landmark season, Bron is on his 23rd signature sneaker with Nike, and wears the jersey number 23. Big year for the King. To make this sneaker model extra memorable, Nike has been basing all of their colorways on moments and milestones from James’ career. This week, we have an official look at the “Bubble Boy” edition.

This upcoming pair of the Nike Lebron 23 commemorates the 2020 NBA championship, a very odd year for the league. In the wake of the pandemic and shelter-in-place orders, the NBA moved every team competing in the playoffs to Florida, and hosted an abbreviated version of their championship tournament in empty arenas. Lebron and the Lakers won, and the trophy has been an interesting talking point ever since. For the “Bubble Boy” edition of the Lebron 23, Nike has cast the silhouette in a palette of Cool Grey and metallic silver tones. The metallic finish is applied to the shoe’s crown shaped lower half, and a bright strip of Vivid Purple stitching joins the two halves of the shoe. More purple accents are added for the outsole, while an iridescent Swoosh completes the look.

The latest pair of the Nike Lebron 23 to get a release date has been scheduled to arrive this month, on November 18th, 2025. The new look features a bold metallic silver look with Vivid Purple accents, and commemorates the 2020 NBA bubble championship. Pairs will be available through both Nike and select basketball retailers for $210.
