With a 12-month calendar filled with “can’t-miss” releases, Jordan Brand has gone a long way towards “restoring the feeling” during its 40th anniversary. However, of course, the Jumpman’s primary mission isn’t a “job well done” over just the span of one year; it’s long-term dominance that remains the #1 priority. As we approach the new year at a rapid pace, their efforts—especially for the opening quarter of 2026—are beginning to solidify. Their All-Star Weekend offerings will be headlined by the Air Jordan 6 “Reverse Infrared,” and new shots of that exact shoe reveal some notable storytelling details it’ll have in tow.
While this does provide us with our best look at the shoes yet, the tinkered black/red colorway for the Air Jordan 6 is well established at this point. The real headline here is the fact that this shoe makes earnest overtures to its origin story à la the “Lost and Found,” a “Reimagined” style release crafted to mimic what a forgotten OG Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” would look like after being dug up. The “Reverse Infrared,” by contrast, takes its arrangement from a salesman sample of the shoe that never made it to market. For its actual 2026 release, Jordan Brand has attempted to recreate the feeling of actually getting your hands on that unreleased pair, including a faded sample stamp on the inside collar and the product tag that comes along with it.
Jordan Brand has circled February 14th, 2026, for the Air Jordan 6 “Reverse Infrared,” dropping in a full size run. As of this writing, the following price breakdown is expected: $215 (men’s), $155 (GS), $95 (PS), $75 (TD). Watch our Jordan Release Dates page for updates on this shoe and all the brand has closer on the horizon.
