Much like how Ja Morant explodes through defenders in the paint, the Nike Ja 3 is powering its way through the crowded shelves of signature shoes and gaining steady ground as the best basketball shoe of 2025. The coloways have yet to miss, and this upcoming “Daybreak” edition is no exception. Read on to learn more.

The Nike Basketball team has been leaning heavily on two-toned colorways, leveraging the design of the scratch-shaped TPU exterior above the mesh base layer. This arrangement has allowed the Ja 3 to be one of the most recognizable shoes on the court; even the drab “Sail” edition had no problems turning heads.

The Ja 3 “Daybreak” isn’t trying to be shy at all; it combines two bold blasts of orange–a lighter shade on the base and a more pungent hue on the exterior and bottoms–while light green paints the shoe-laces. Adding a soft touch is a hit of light glacier blue on Ja’s symbol on the tongue.
