Dollar for dollar, the New Balance Basketball lineup is as good as they come. Reasonable prices, quality tooling, and flashy colorways have earned high praise for the brand’s non-signature series, two of which play a role in this “Flavors” pack releasing April 19th.

We begin with the New Balance TWO WXY v5; the sneaker of choice for household names like Jamal Murray and Dejounte Murray. Fitting well into the modern basketball style as a “positionless” model, the “Flavors” TWO WXY v5 features a marbled, abstract purple pattern over the tongue and base. The lining and midsole opt for light and dark purple hues, respectively, while semi-clear radial tread completes the delivery underfoot.

The TWO WXY v5 sits opposite the Hesi Low v2, the second model in the brand’s newest series designed for quick guards. Following the same “Flavors” design formula, the model features the same marbled print but in a pink-ish salmon hue. As for the tech, the TWO WXY v5 and Hesi Low v2 both pull from the New Balance Running world with FuelCell and Fresh Foam X cushioning.
