On top of having one of the most stacked rosters in the WNBA (assuming the team re-signs its key free agents), the New York Liberty also boast the best mascot in the league. Ellie the Elephant, introduced in 2021 when the team moved to Barclays Center and rebranded, quickly became one of the most popular and recognizable mascots thanks to her viral social media presence, energetic performances, and all-around lovable personality.

Last season, Sabrina Ionescu paid tribute to Ellie with a customizable Sabrina 2 “By Big Ellie,” offering design options like elephant print and the Liberty’s signature teal color. As the Sabrina 3 continues its offseason rollout, it too is paying tribute with a standalone grey style dubbed “Most Valuable Mascot.”

Most of the sneaker arrives in grey to mirror Ellie’s appearance, while the Swooshes feature key character-driven details. The lateral Swoosh comes in grey with a crystal-like embossed finish, while the medial appears in red with debossed dots.
