Caitlin Clark Debuts Her First Pair of Nike Kobe 5 Protro PE

WNBA's rising star Caitlin Clark has received her first pair of Nike Kobe 5 Proto PEs. The Indiana Fever guard debuts her PEs during a practice, that nods to the both her WNBA team and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Arriving in a vibrant yellow and black color scheme the shoe gives a nod to both the teams she works with, retaining predominantly black and yellowaccents throughout. The midsole sees a gradual black to yellow gradient while the tongue sees the Black Mamba logo and the heel, the late Kobe Bryant's signature. Sitting atop a white midsole, the shoe carries great significance for Clark as she looks ahead to her future in the league and beyond. It is uncertain if this particular colorway -- or a rendition of it -- will make it to market down the line. As of now, it is a 1-of-1 for Clark. Clark is currently in her first season with the Indiana Fever. The 2024 WNBA season ends in mid-September.Take a look at the images of the shoe below or above.
