Are Air Jordan 1s regaining movement? The silhouette that started the shoe craze has gone cold over the last two years, but with the brand recently displaying ’85 Hi samples of nearly every original colorway at the Michael Jordan building, there’s been an uptick in excitement. We’re far from the Jumpman going back to dropping new colorways every weekend, but the Air Jordan 1 won’t ever really go away as long as it’s still an option on the golf course.
For the Air Jordan 1 Golf Mule, Jordan Brand has been almost exclusive to original colorways, with few exceptions made for modern classics like the Shattered Backboard Jordan 1. This upcoming pair nods to the original “Metallic Pack” of 1985 issues, although this edition made for the green lacks the shiny coating on the Swoosh logo. Still, with its simplistic white/navy color-combination, golfers will find these a solid choice for eighteen holes.
A release date hasn’t been announced just yet, but expect these on Nike.com for $115 (a $5 jump in MSRP).
