In case the material qualtiy wasn’t evident on that predecessor, the atmosphere is far more upfront on this pair, coated in refined brown ostrich leather throughout its thin sidewalls before giving way to a thin sole underfoot. Market responses to that first colorway has been quiet overall, but perhaps the turn towards traditional leather goods can bring the extra “oomph” needed to propel the 1960’s creation back into the public consciousness.
