Having friends in high places goes a long way, but it’s hard to beat having family in those same spots. As Jordan Brand’s first major sponsee, Carmelo Anthony is known to have one of the greatest vaults of PE Jordans. Though his playing days are firmly over following his induction into the Naismith Hall of Fame, the Anthony name still has plenty of juice, now expressed as a Kiyan Anthony Air Jordan 6 Low PE comes to light.

Coming to light with the help of SLAM Kicks, the Syracuse Orange commit brings plenty of school spirit to the fore, with orange and blue shining through in a wild multicolor arrangement. More intriguingly, this Air Jordan 6 Low functionally swaps textures every time it switches color: scaly leather holds up orange at the quarter, elephant print suede defines the lavender heel cup, royal blue prints on the perforated leather toe cap, and forest green hits the “23” suede that zigzags from the laces.

A swatch of grey in the rear midsole and a translucent heel tab round out the hardware on display here. To tie down the aesthetic, a playful “KIYAN” brand sits embroidered at the very back, redoubling the pastel colorway on display through the rest of the shoe. With the NIL era fully underway, Kiyan has already racked up plenty of endorsement deals, from AT&T to Nerf to American Eagle. Jordan Brand has yet to join that group, but it’d be a shrewd play for both the company and the athlete to join up and keep bringing us kicks like this.

The Kiyan Anthony Air Jordan 6 Low PE, of course, will remain in Anthony’s closet and is not expected to hit the public. Still, you can take in the shoe from afar with the images below.
