Nike’s “Year of the Horse” lineup for Spring 2026 now includes a standout take on one of the Beaverton brand’s premier road runners, and it’s fair to say the marriage of theme and sneaker couldn’t be more on point.
The viral Nike Pegasus Premium, a model whose name traces back to Greek mythology, marks the incoming Chinese New Year with a series of thoughtful design touches. The most clever detail is also the most understated. Along the spine, the usual fabric pull tab is replaced with a wing-shaped tag, a subtle yet elegant nod to the winged horse that gives Nike’s long-running franchise its name. Anthracite Swooshes feature Pegasus-inspired brogue and paisley-style iconography, while gradients of Anthracite, Sail, and pink alternate between the left and right shoes for a deliberate mismatched effect. Custom insoles continue the narrative with open-field graphics that reference the wild horse’s natural habitat, paired with branding that reads “soaring free since 1972” around the heel.
The Nike Pegasus Premium “Year of the Horse” releases Spring 2026 for $220 USD. See official images below and stay tuned as we continue unpacking Nike’s Spring 2026 lineup.
In related news, the Ja 3 “Year of the Horse” features faux pony hair.
