Salehe Bembury‘s ongoing relationship with New Balance can be credited for the brand’s revival in the lifestyle market in recent years. His wild, colorful takes on NB icons has yielded polarizing results to its benefit as he’s championed himself as one of the more eccentric minds in the world of footwear.

That’s why his next collaboration with New Balance is such a surprise, because it resembles something closer to a “GR” rather than a true Salehe design. It’s clad in a light olive suede with cream and pecan accents on the midsole, light grey mesh base layering, and grey interiors and soles. The only distinguishable feature is the Bembury name embroidered onto the billboard-esque tongue.

While there has yet to be an official teaser announcement on this collaboration, retailer A Ma Maniere just launched their EQL raffle (enter the raffle below) for the release, pointing to a likely January drop for $275.

Looking at the larger picture of the Salehe Bembury footwear ecosystem, his work with Crocs continues, while the first stages of his partnership with PUMA are expected to debut in 2025.
