It genuinely takes a lot of guts for someone like NIGO, forever associated with the Air Force 1 through his time as steward of BAPE, to step outside of what’s readily expected of him as he finally stepped to Beaverton. His collaborations with the Swoosh have come fast and furious throughout the past year and change, starting his series of Air Force 3 two-packs of the Air Force 3 in October 2024 before quickly revisiting with more in December and March.

After a quiet Summer by those standards, NIGO is back on the Air Force 3, ready to make his biggest splash since the debut capsule by enlisting Levi’s. In and of itself, it’s a past-meets-future moment, seeing Nike bring together a newly-established partner and one that helped bring Jordan Brand one of their very first collaborative efforts more than a decade ago.

Unsurprisingly, the San Francisco legacy brand brings heavy denim applications to both colorways, leaning into earthy tones on either. Navy and brown are the overtones on one, while the other swaps to turquoise and ecru, either united by subtle aging on the midsoles and the requisite dose of co-branding. Arguably, the most creative of the latter touches comes on the insoles, where Levi’s storied history pins a cowboy figure holding a “Levi’s For Nigo” Nike Air Force 3 sign.

To close on the peripherals that accompany this pair, the manga-tinted packaging and single chenille letters are back once again. You’ll note the “OGIN Force” text on the heel as well; the shots included here depict pairs to be released in Asia, where some trademark issues surrounding “Nigo” force a bit of a title switch. Expect the same colorways with “Nigo Force” branding if you’re in other markets.
