The adidas BW Army just got a big boost in its case for the “sneaker of the summer” crown. The latest Kith Classics x adidas Originals range is here, introducing four refined, compelling takes on the uptrending German Army Trainer silhouette.

Calling the BW Army a “Margiela knockoff” is an easy way to out yourself as a casual. adidas has long claimed to be the original inventor of the GAT silhouette, the result of commission by the West German army in the 1970s. The style has seen its peaks and valleys over the years, and we’re certainly in a hot period right now, with many consumers finding a new appreciation for its versatile design and lack of overt branding.

Ronnie Fieg and co. tee up four colorways: Raw Desert/Cardboard, Tent Green/Aero Green, Wonder Orchid/Magic Mauve, and Aurora Coffee/Shadow Brown, all built with premium leather, nubuck, and suede. This marks the first time Kith has collaborated on the BW Army proper, though the brand previously dropped a crepe-soled collab with Clarks back in 2024.

The rest of the range is filled out with some familiar faces, with the adidas Samba and Japan silhouettes each receiving Collegiate Green/White/Black colorways. The Samba skews lighter with a perforated white leather upper, while the Japan flips the script with Collegiate Green nubuck. All six sneakers feature familiar Kith Classics x adidas Originals branding on the tongue and insoles.

The Kith Classics x adidas Originals Spring 2026 drawings open today, April 17th, exclusively on the Kith App. Select quantities will also be available as part of the Kith Monday Program on April 20th at 11:00 AM, in-store, online, and via the Kith App across New York, London, Paris, and Tokyo time zones.
