Jordan 1 Rare Air, Yuto Nike SB Dunk And This Week’s Best Releases

While there’s quality sprinkled all throughout the upcoming slate, April 1st brings us one of the heavier single days we’ve seen in some time, combining four major drops for the Three Stripes with a heavy dose of basketball offerings. However, where that may succeed in sheer quantity, the two appointment releases for most in our audiwence are no doubt the Air Jordan 1 “Rare Air,” beginning the sprawling colorway series with a red and blue edition, and this year’s best Nike SB release to date via the second Yuto Horigome colorway. For those whose interests lie outside of Beaverton, the release of the Curry Fox 1 “Gamer,” New Balance Allerdale in a new white colorway, or the APC ASICS collection may better befit your tastes.

Note that because of a large number of releases on the first of the month, the releases for April 1st are split into three galleries below, separated into lifestyle and basketball.

Though it comes midway through the week, April 1st is when we truly get cooking with this slate, and it is a jam-packed one. To easier delineate, we’ll begin with the Three Stripes, reissuing their BW Army silhouette, well-recieved by the fashion community in its last go-around. Then to the collab front withWe hit a GS stop on the Minecraft adidas training, notching a “Creeper” inspired Superstar. The Toy Story adidas collection also stops in the younger demo with a Gazelle release inspired by animated cowgirl Jessie. The final link-up comes with the adidas Brain Dead. We shift over to the lifestyle space to continue . Nike mints a holiday release with the Air Force 1 “Easter” before checking off the Dunk Low “CBGB,” inspired by the iconic NYC locale. The Swoosh additionally ushers in two fresh looks for the Nike Total SP 90 III and a stealthy one for the Air Max Muse “Black.” The New Balance 1000 “Sea Salt” ensures we hear from the Boston brand, continuing a seasonal push for the Y2K model.

From there, it’s a heavy day of basketball releases to round things out (still on April 1st), with the Curry Fox 1 Gamer chalking off the Baltimore imprint’s lone contribution. It’s all Beaverton after that: the LeBron 22 “Frozen Grapes,” LeBron 22 “Bryce’s World,” Ja 2 “Out My Body” Nike Giannis Freak 6 “Eva,” Sabrina 2 “Activate,” Sabrina 2 “Locked In,” Zoom GT Cut 3 “Washed Apricot” and Zoom GT Hustle 3 “Red Stardust”

After wading through that heavy crowd, April 3rd delivers two “fire and ice” styled versions of the Nike Air Max DN8, joined by another 2025 addition in the Pegasus Premium “Persian Violet.” The New Balance Allerdale also adds an all-white colorway to the brand’s $250 walking shoe.

April 4th brings a wide release for a highly-regarded look on a widely-loved hoops shoe, combining for the Nike Zoom GT Cut 3 “Jewell Loyd.” Interestingly, the original GT Cut “Flash Pink” also returns. Not to be outdone, adidas celebrates Atlanta via the Superstar “404 Day.”

Finally, as per usual, Saturday, April 5th is the main attraction for this week’s cadre. Leading the charge is the “Matcha” flavored Yuto SB Dunk Low, Hurigome’s second collab with the skate brand and possibly his best to date. Then to the Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Deep Royal Blue and Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Cinnabar, dropping on the same day as the first herald of the wide-ranging “Rare Air” pack set to land on a host of Jordan Retro models as 2025 plays out. Last but certainly not least, the APC Asics GEL-Kayano 14 collection mints two laid-back editions of the Japanese brand’s hot commodity.
