The Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 “Racer Blue” will be released on August 30, 2025. To celebrate the shoes’ 35th Anniversary, Awake and Jordan Brand will also launch matching apparel. The retail price is $230.

Awake NY will team up with Jordan Brand again, but this time in 2025 and on a different model. After successfully launching the Jordan Air Ship in “University Red,” the second pair will debut in “Game Royal“ in November 2024. The two will then move onto the Air Jordan 5. This makes sense as the brand will celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the model. Furthermore, the shoes will launch alongside the “Arctic Pink” iteration.

For fans of the Air Jordan 5, 2025 is looking great! We have several classic color options returning, including the “Black Metallic Reimagined,” the “Grape,” and the “Fire Red” with a Black Tongue. Awake NY will give its take on the model and build upon the short list of collaborations using the silhouette.

Awake NY isn’t the only entity to work on the model. In the Summer of 2025, A Ma Maniere will drop a pair in “Diffused Blue.”

This Air Jordan 5 will feature a Black, Racer Blue, Metallic Silver, Silver, White, and Clear color scheme. As you can see, the shoes feature Black leather across the upper, while the Awake NY “A” logo is placed within the mesh panels. In addition, we have the number “23” embroidered on the left heel, Nike Air on the heels, and Awake NY branding on the tongues. Other details include Racer Blue accents and a translucent rubber outsole.

The Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 “Racer Blue” will be released first on August 17th, 2025, via an EQL online raffle. Following, on August 30th, 2025, the shoes will debut via Nike.com. The retail price is $230. We will update you once we have more details.
