Emily Oberg’s Sporty & Rich label is kicking off their 2025 adidas releases next week. However, we already have an early look at the next silhouette to get the S&R makeover; the Adistar Cushion, coming soon.

In the two years since Sporty & Rich first teamed up with adidas, the two have pumped out project after project on a seasonal basis, often in tandem with the S&R apparel collections. The partners had a big year in 2024, releasing a range of Olympic-themed goods among their regular releases. Now, they are gearing up for their first releases of the new year and a new Spring fashion season.

The first project from Sporty & Rich and adidas for the year arrives later this week, and features the Handball Spezial in a trio of collegiate colors. However, a new project has surfaced on our radar this week, with S&R taking on the Adistar Cushion, a chunky, retro-inspired runner. The S&R version is quite minimal, giving the shoe a makeover in white mesh with overlays in shades of light grey, and just a hint of metallic silver.

Sporty & Rich’s Spring 2025 releases with adidas kick off this week with a Handball pack, though the Adistar Cushion style does not have a set date yet. Dressed in shades of grey, white, and silver, pairs will be available from both partners for $140.
