Song For The Mute and adidas are reprising their budding partnership with more footwear for March. Six sneakers are on tap, including three new Adistar Cushions and three Superstar 82s.

While the SFTM x adidas partnership has turned out a ton of sneakers since 2022, you could make a strong case that the Australian brand is currently one of the more underrated Three Stripes collaborators. Names like Wales Bonner, JJJJound, and CLOT might be more buzzworthy by comparison, but looking at the trajectory of SFTM x adidas thus far, the brand has more than enough potential to reach that upper echelon in time.

The next SFTM x adidas capsule begins with three new Adistar Cushion colorways; a natural follow-up to the brand’s most second most recent delivery from late 2024. Militaristic tan, black, and olive green colorways make up the trio, all of which feature suede overlays and what appear to be chenille fabric stripes.

Turning focus to the Superstar 82, an all-new silhouette for Song For The Mute, the model is tweaked with a deconstructed heel and an extra set of eyelets that are cut out from the rubber shell toe. Additionally, the white, brown, and black colorways embedded below all feature mixed-media sidewalls that alternate between various leathers and suedes. Small SFTM tags jut out from the lateral side of the heel, and the tongue features the same oversized co-branded tag utilized on all SFTM x adidas collabs.
