Their shift towards silhouettes like the New Balance 1906R and New Balance 9060 makes it seem of a different era entirely, but some NB devotees still hold the deconstructed product line near and dear. English retailer and multi-time New Balance partner size? has you covered, as the “Protection Pack” lives on via an upcoming three-pack of New Balance 2002R colorways.

The majority of this size? “Protection Pack” collection keeps the trademark distressed & extended overlay panels in suede, those two pairs also carrying through par-for-the-course palettes of earthy brown and stealthy black & grey. The big revelation is a metallic silver colorway that keeps those topmost sections in leather, a “Space Age” take on the “Protection Pack” concept that almost feels like the halfway point between these turn-of-the-decade aesthetics and the brand’s current design language.
