UK retailer Size? owns one of the strongest backlogs of collaborations and retailer exclusives of any sneaker chain on the planet. From its revered “City Series” collections with adidas to its myriad standout Nike Air Max releases on models like the Air Max 95 and Air Max 180, England’s most well-known and most popular sneaker chain routinely proves it knows the assignment.

Size? is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary with another adidas “City Series” and plenty of additional retailer exclusives from New Balance, PUMA, Salomon, and more. The latest to cross our desk is a Nike Air Max 90 featuring Size?’s signature orange color and a slew of nuanced texture swaps. It appears the sneaker takes inspiration from several past Air Max releases, as hinted at by an outsole featuring multiple style codes scribbled on (though they’re hard to read).

Perforated white leather makes up the toe box, while tactile mesh forms the collar. The eyestays and heel badge are made from semi-translucent TPU material, allowing Size?’s question mark logo to peek through on the heel. The mudguard alternates between two different shades of grey on the lateral and medial sides. The lateral side features exposed stitching and a clear TPU Swoosh, while the medial stands out with a lunar quarter reminiscent of the iconic Air Max Lunar90 SP from 2014. The tongue breaks from the greyscale palette in bright orange leather, while two sets of laces — one white and one orange with white stitching — are included.
