The Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro “Moonwalker” will be released on October 30, 2025. Inspired by Michael Jackson, the retail price is $220, and it comes highlighted in “Hyper Grape.”

Nike Basketball will expand on the Kobe releases in 2025 by returning another classic colorway. Returning in Fall 2025, we have the classic “Moonwalker” Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro, aka “Michael Jackson.” The shoes come highlighted in shades of Purple and feature a moon graphic on the soles.

This Nike Kobe 9 comes dressed in a Hyper Grape, White, and Cave Purple color scheme. Initially released in 2014, the 2025 release is expected to resemble the original. Constructed with Flyknit across the upper in Hyper Grape. The outsole features the moon’s surface, a direct nod to Michael Jackson. In addition, Black appears on the liner and laces, and most of the midsole with carbon fiber areas. White fills in the Kobe shield logo on the tongues and Silver graces the Swooshes.
