After a winter-long celebration stemming from the World Series victory last October, the Los Angeles Dodgers are now focused on a title defense to become the first back-to-back champs since the Yankees accomplished the feat in the late 1990s. They may have superstar power on both sides of the ball, but the spirit of the Black Mamba and the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Dodgers” could be the positive energy that pushes them to bring another ring to LA.
A superb delight for LA sports fans, the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Dodgers” combines the love of Kobe Bryant and the hometown team in one spirited shoe. Inspired by the PE first shared by Vanessa Bryant, this special colorway needs little description; it’s Dodgers to a tee as the snakeskin TPU is flooded in the signature shade of blue, while white and red accents rally the rest of the LA threads for the perfect Opening Day ‘fit. Kobe’s number 8 sits at the heel.
To launch the shoe, Nike tapped the one and only UNDEFEATED to be the exclusive launch partner of the drop. On March 15th, the Kobe 6 “Dodgers” will be available exclusively at UNDEFEATED stores in the LA (La Brea) and in Tokyo (Shibuya), the latter city being where the Dodgers will actually begin their 2025 campaign. These are part of a larger Nike Kobe “Game Royal” collection that includes the Diamond Elite Catchers Set, Kobe Alpha Elite Batting Gloves, Kobe Diamond Sliding Mitt, and Kobe Baseball Jersey (see below). Raffles for the Kobe 6 will be open soon.

On the day of the launch, UNDEFEATED will host special events at both La Brea and Shibuya locations to celebrate the release of the Kobe Game Royal Collection. Doors are open to the public from 11AM-5PM local time. A special watching party hosted by UNDEFEATED will be at Perry’s Shibuya (food + music provided) on March 18th and 19th during the Dodgers’ season openers against the Chicago Cubs.
