The Nike KD 4 “Texas Longhorns” will return to retailers on October 24, 2025. Initially launched in 2012, the shoes are a tribute to KD’s time with the Texas Longhorns. The retail price is $135.

Although Kevin Durant didn’t play college basketball for long, it impacted him, and he will always have connections with Texas. As Nike Basketball continues to bring out KD 4s, the brand will release the “Texas Longhorns” KD 4 during the Holiday 2025 season.

Initially released in 2012, this Nike KD 4 features a Desert Orange and White color scheme. Looking closer, the shoes come with Orange across the base, mid-foot strap, tongue, liner, and KD logo on the heels. One of the standout elements of this pair is the Texas Longhorns branding across the tongues. In addition, White graces the Swoosh, heel, and the rubber outsole that extends to part of the midsole.
