$Nike Introduces A New GORE-TEX Dunk Low For Fall 2025$

Given how often Nike uses GORE-TEX material across its sneaker categories, it’s a bit surprising that the Dunk Low – one of the brand’s most heavily produced models – hasn’t gotten any GORE-TEX editions since re-entering the Sportswear category in 2020. The last GORE-TEX Nike Dunks released in the late 2000s and early 2010s, and while we’ve seen plenty of GORE-TEX Air Force 1s since, the Dunk Low hasn’t gotten any such weatherproofing in recent memory. That won’t be the case for long, as @sbheadsbe recently shared images of a “Light Crimson/Total Crimson” GORE-TEX Dunk Low releasing later this year.

This is a sample pair, but text reading “Final Adoption” on the inner tag lets us know this is what the final product will look like. Shades of “Light Crimson” and “Total Crimson” do most of the heavy lifting, with dark red hits on the lining, backtab, and outsole completing a fiery theme. Four key qualities deserve special attention, led by a protruding TPU Swoosh in “Light Iron Ore.” The toe box features enclosed dots in lieu of perforations for weatherproofing, while the toe overlay featured debossed “GORE-TEX” text on the lateral side. Lastly, the outsole is altered with wavy edges, a new tread pattern around the heel, and dual-tone red and “Light Crimson” paint. Just to clarify; this is a Sportswear Dunk Low and not a Nike SB release.

These are part of a larger GORE-TEX Nike Dunk collection releasing during the Fall 2025 shopping season, but no other colorways have surfaced at the time of this writing. As a premium version of the Dunk Low, the sneaker commands a $150 MSRP.
