Nike’s Mind 001 mule surfaced earlier this season, but today the Swoosh officially unveiled the new model, a part of the greater Mind line. These new shoes are backed by neuroscience, and use stimulation points in your feet to activate neural pathways.

This morning, Nike unveiled a string of new technology innovations, ranging from pre-game slippers to inflatable, temperature adjusting outerwear. The brand’s history of pushing boundaries has taken another step further this year, and then an extra one for good measure. The highlight of this morning’s announcements was Project Amplify, the Swoosh’s first foray into a fusion of robotics and footwear, aimed at giving you just a little extra juice while running and walking. The other side of their footwear unveils was the Mind series, a new pre- or post-game line with design features backed by neuroscience.

The Nike Mind mules have been crossing our timelines for weeks now, but today the brand finally gave us the full backstory on the new silhouettes and their bulbous outsole designs. The Mind line focuses on science-backed developments, and the link between underfoot pressure points and your brain. The Mind shoes feature a series of sphere underneath, strategically placed to activate specific neural pathways through stimulation of pressure points, helping athletes “lock in” before the game, and unwind afterwards. The Mind line will debut in January with two models, the 001 mule slipper we’ve seen a lot of recently, and the 002 full sneaker. Both shoes are built for maximum comfort.

NIKE MIND FOOTWEAR RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s new Mind footwear line has been scheduled to debut early next year, on January 8th, 2026. Two silhouettes will be available at launch, the 001 mule and the 002 sneaker, both in color options of Solar Red and Light Smoke Grey. Select retailers will also be carrying the new silhouettes, which are priced at $95 and $145, respectively.
