Is Jordan Brand Getting Into The Retro Runner Market?

With retro runners being all the rage nowaways, it looks like Jordan Brand is coming for its piece of the pie. While there have been rumors that the Jumpman plans to bring back the Jordan Trunner, which is probably the brand’s most notable foray into the trainer niche, we’re here to give you a first look at an all-new model. Meet the Jordan LOR.

Unveiled by @kicksdong on Instagram, the Jordan LOR stands out with a TPU cage that stretches up from the midsole to the eyelets. It’s got a bit of a Trunner aesthetic to it, but outside of the Jumpman, the LOR is best examined alongside styles like the New Balance 992 and 993. Mesh and suede placements on the upper after those two MADE In USA models, and the greyscale colorway shown here certainly allows for a natural comparison.

Jordan Brand hasn’t officially announced the Jordan LOR at the time of this writing, meaning we’re not yet privy on the model’s inspiration, intended function, and tech specs. Firm release information hasn’t been made public either, but according to @kicksdong, the new model should begin to roll out in August 2025. Know that our Jordan Release Dates page will update with all the latest info as we continue to learn more.
