Fueled in no small part by names like Vivienne Westwood and the bands of the ’70s, tartan would become a symbolic middle finger to the English high society that once made it fashionable. Whether your tastes lean preppy or punk, this adidas Superstar “London” is for you.

Continuing a well-rounded run of releases that have occurred throughout 2025, this Superstar pays homage to the UK capital with a red plaid (tartan) sockliner. Red suede covers the side panels, while black accents hit the stripes, back-tab, eyestays, and shell toe to give the sneaker a sharp edge. Serif text reading “London” sits beneath Trefoil logos on the back-tab and tongue, while a plaid hangtag stamped with “London” in gold reinforces the theme of the release.
