Stüssy has time and again proven its ability to jumpstart successful Nike retro runs through its collaborations. We saw it with the Spiridon Cage 2, we saw it with the Air Max 2013, and later this year, we’ll see it with the Nike Baltoro — a hiking boot from 1990.

Named after the Baltoro Glacier in the Himalayas, the original Baltoro featured a high, ankle-hugging cut and mixed-media construction consisting of leather and canvas. Per the Stüssy collab, unveiled here by @scarrspizza, the modern version employs a shorter height for a more approachable look suitable for lifestyle wear.

Stüssy has two colorways on tap, led by a “Light British Tan” pair featuring hairy suede, white leather Swoosh logos, and a black sole unit with white speckles. The other colorway is expected to feature “Safety Orange,” though no images have surfaced as of this writing.

Stüssy’s collaboration kicks off a full-fledged revival of the Baltoro, with several general release colorways expected for Holiday 2025 and well into 2026. The Baltoro begins its latest retro run just as the Nike ACG Torre — a likeminded hiking boot that debuted in the mid ’90s — moves back into the Nike archive following a strong run from 2023-2025.
