If you decried last week’s slate for a lack of options, the sneaker gods have heard your calls.
While the first of the month always brings a ton of varied choices to the table, there are multiple days in the upcoming seven that offer a boon of picks. Basketball is no doubt the most well represented, including the two listed in our title: the debut of the adidas Anthony Edwards 2 and the second, third, and fourth colorways for the Converse SHAI 001.
The dawn of the LeBron 23 makes a heavy push to make it a “top three” this week, while new looks for the Book 1, KD 18, Kobe 9, Foamposite, and Derrick Rose’s Fear of God Athletics II ensure that there’s plenty of below-the-line highlights to around. Shifting off the hardwood, the Patta x Nike Air Max DN8 is the splashiest collaboration. A fresh Kobe Air Force 1 in “Court Purple,” the Powerpuff Girls’ Crocs, the Air Jordan 11 “Sneaker School,” and the introduction of the Air Jordan 1 Low “Element” all have our attention.
Again, those in that same dedicated subset know the drill this time of the month, but the heavy stream of drops on the first of the month can make our usual format a bit unwieldy. As such, you’ll find one extra gallery below compared to normal, splitting October 1st’s releases into basketball and non-basketball. Otherwise, the typical day-to-day breakdowns with hyperlinks back to original coverage can be found just ahead. Keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates and Jordan Release Dates to ensure nothing slips through the cracks, even as we update this page with any notable late-comers to the slate.

September 30th starts off with a 2010s bring-back in the Nike Air Foamposite “Cough Drop.” From there, two eye-catching collaborations: the Sushi Club Air Force 1 hits SNKRS, the GANNI New Balance 1906L hits NB.com.

The blitz of October 1st lifestyle releases begins with the Kobe Air Force 1 “Court Purple” and the SNKRS release of two Patta Air Max DN8 colorways. Beaverton stays hot with the Jordan 1 Low Element before Boston breaks the combo with the New Balance 993 “Community Pack,” comprised of the 993 “Community Pink” and 993 “Community Blue.” Closing out the day’s off-court offerings are the Nike Sportswear “Mummy Pack” (Air Max 90 “Muslin” and Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Muslin”), the Nike Air Max Muse “Pink Spell,” and the adidas Forum ’84 Treehouse of Horror

Shifting to the October 1st basketball slate, DRose gets his flowers with the adidas Fear of God Athletics II “Derrick Rose” while the Mamba gets involved with the Nike Kobe 9 EM “Game Royal.” NIke commands our attention for the rest of the day with a ton from their signature series: the Book 1 “Solar Red,” the KD 18 “B.A.D.,” three colorways of the Zoom GT Cut 3, and the Giannis Freak 7 “Bred For It” and Freak 7 “The Drive.”

October 2nd might just be the most diverse set on hand this week. First off, the Converse SHAI 001 “Family Pack,” accompanied by a set of identically colored SHAI 001 Converse Chuck Taylor releases. Millenials and Gen Z will certainly stand up for the Powerpuff Girls Crocs collection. The Eastside Golf Nike partnership sets on the Victory Tour and the Air Max Plus, while elsewhere in the product line the Nike Air Max Dn Roam tools up for Winter. Rounding out with the Swoosh offerings, the Nike Vomero Premium “Sail” drops as three new looks for a spotlighted lifestyle model come into view: the Ava Rover “Earth,” Ava Rover “Sequoia,” and Ava Rover “College Grey.”

October 3rd gets ahead of the NBA season, as the glittering Nike LeBron 23 “40K Gold” introduces the King’s latest. Though not as attention-grabbing, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Realtree” and PUMA LaFrance RNR “Reflection” are ones we’re still tracking the same day.

To end this week’s endless group of launches, October 4th at last begins the Anthony Edwards 2 “With Love” story, before the kids get their with the Air Jordan 11 “Sneaker School.”
